“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.”
This workshop invites you into that field—where connection becomes possible not by winning an argument, but by understanding what lives beneath our words. Whether you’re finding it hard to handle conflict, struggling to speak up, or simply looking to feel more connected, you’ll leave with tools to navigate both your inner world and your relationships with more clarity and care.
This interactive workshop offers practical tools to help you communicate more clearly and compassionately, both with others and yourself. Drawing from Nonviolent Communication (NVC), Aikido-based communication techniques, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), we’ll explore how to stay grounded and present during difficult conversations.
Through gentle movement, body language awareness, and simple role-play exercises, you’ll practice listening without defensiveness, expressing yourself honestly, and recognizing the different “parts” within you that may have competing needs or fears. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to participate and reflect.
Living abroad can bring up complex emotions—loneliness, frustration, or simply feeling misunderstood.
