Discover the depth and playfulness of metaphor through the art of haiku.
In this creative writing workshop, we’ll use the simplicity of nature and the honesty of emotion to craft three-line poems that distill experience into vivid imagery. Together, we’ll explore how just a few carefully chosen words can open new ways of understanding ourselves and the world around us.
Writing haiku is not only about form – it’s about awareness. It’s about slowing down enough to notice the smallest details: the sound of rain on a window, a fleeting feeling, a scent that awakens a memory. In this space, we’ll use these small impressions as inspiration to express something larger – something true.
No writing experience is needed. Whether you’ve written before or never tried, you’re warmly invited to join. All you need is curiosity and a willingness to explore language (in your mother tongue) as a creative mirror for emotion and reflection.
This workshop offers a gentle and inclusive space where everyone’s voice has value. It’s not about perfection or performance, but about play, discovery, and connection – with language, with yourself, and with others who are exploring alongside you.
