We all know the restless “monkey mind”—unwanted, intrusive thoughts that won’t leave us alone. They can be exhausting, overwhelming, and hard to manage. The truth is, we might not be able to control the monkey mind—but we can shift it. Physically, emotionally, mentally, and situationally, there are ways to redirect its energy and find relief.
In this workshop, we’ll explore:
- What Monkey Mind is all about and why our brains create intrusive thoughts
- Body-based shifts to calm racing thoughts and reset your nervous system
- Emotional and mental shifts that change how you relate to intrusive thoughts
- Situational shifts: A set of simple tools you can use in daily life to create more space and perspective
- Real-life stories and group discussions that normalize, validate, and tell you you’re not alone
This is not just a lecture—it’s a practical, supportive space where we’ll combine useful information, guided exercises, and shared experiences. You’ll leave with concrete techniques to shift your monkey mind in different ways—and with the reassurance that you’re not alone in navigating intrusive thoughts.
Expect an evening of learning, trying things out, and connecting with others who understand – all with a generous dollop of humor.
