Join us this Tuesday as we create a space to acknowledge and explore the often-overlooked emotional challenges of the holiday season
The holiday season can bring a whirlwind of emotions. While it’s often portrayed as a time of joy and connection, many face an entirely different reality: feelings of loneliness, the pain of loss, or the weight of unmet expectations. These emotions, though difficult, are valid – and they deserve to be processed and understood.
This presentation and dialogue provides a safe and supportive space to reflect. We’ll explore the psychological impact of this season and provide tools to help you navigate its complexities.
The post-holiday blues can become an opportunity to heal, grow, and reconnect with what truly matters.
Here are some examples of situations you might be facing:
– The stress of family dynamics
– The ache of loss
– The quiet of loneliness
When living in a new country, we may face additional challenges navigating traditions while belonging across different cultures.
– “The holidays don’t have to be perfect to be meaningful, and neither do we. Let’s explore what it means to embrace this season with authenticity, courage, and compassion.”
Hosts of the evening
The evening will be facilitated by clinical psychologist Persefoni Kaltaki
