Dear friends,
We warmly invite you to a workshop with Blom Collective exploring Positive Psychology — the scientific study of what helps humans adapt, recover, and flourish, even in challenging circumstances.
Rather than focusing on “being positive,” Positive Psychology looks at the conditions that support wellbeing, such as connection, meaning, engagement, and a sense of progress. In this session, we will be introduced to PERMA, a simple framework describing five building blocks of human flourishing, along with a few additional conditions that shape wellbeing in everyday life.
The session will include:
- A short, accessible introduction to Positive Psychology
- Gentle reflections on what supports human flourishing
- Time for personal and small-group reflection (sharing is always optional)
We will be especially mindful of how wellbeing is shaped by experiences of change, displacement, and rebuilding a sense of home. This is not a therapy session, nor does it promise quick fixes. It is an invitation to pause, reflect, and explore together what helps people feel a little more supported and resourced in their lives.
All are welcome. No prior knowledge is needed.

The workshop will be guided by:

Clinical Psychotherapist Aglaia Michelaki, who is currently completing an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology. Aglaia brings together academic insight with a deep interest in wellbeing as a collective, lived experience – especially in contexts shaped by migration, change, and uncertainty.
