Mental health is not simply the absence of illness
Join us for this evening session on debunking the field of positive psychology and learn how you can use it for your well-being!
The field of positive psychology acknowledges the ups and downs of being human, without dismissing the negative parts of life. It belongs to the newest branches of psychology and it is unique in seeking and building positive qualities in individuals’ lives, not only for healing, but also for mental illnesses prevention.
In this Tuesday’s workshop
We will look at what positive psychology is and is not, debunking some facts and myths of where the word ‘positive’ stands within psychology and mental health treatment and prevention.
We will look at where you can meet positive psychology in your everyday life and different social environments, and we will experiment with some positive psychology exercises that you can use for your own self-practice and reflection during the workshop and after it. The workshop aims to be informative and interactive, where you are most welcome to bring and ask questions and as always, learn from others’ curiosity.

Natalie, BSc Psychology degree student 💚🌞
