Re-thinking Mental Health together: From dystopia to community care

An empowering workshop to imagine – and start building – the mental health future we deserve

In a world where conversations about mental health are often shaped by crisis and stigma, it’s time to flip the script. This interactive workshop invites you to step beyond the headlines and personal struggles, and into a space where we can dream, design, and act – together.

Using the Future Workshop method developed by Robert Jungk and Norbert Müllert for challenging dominant societal visions, we’ll explore and share challenges, uncover hidden possibilities, and create community-powered visions for change. Whether you’re looking to make a difference in your own life, your workplace, your neighborhood, or the wider world, this highly interactive workshop will help you to:

  • See mental health through a fresh, collective lens
  • Turn feelings of helplessness into creative, collective visions
  • Connect with others who care about building a culture of care
  • Leave with practical next steps to spark change around you

No special knowledge needed – just curiosity, empathy, and a willingness to imagine better futures. Together, we can design alternatives of connection, resilience, and care.

Looking forward to seeing you 🤗

The workshop will be guided by:

Elena B. Martins, PhD. Postdoctoral researcher in Organizational Psychology (University of Copenhagen) and Clinical Psychotherapist in-training (GIS-International).
