Seeing and Being Seen
What happens when another person mirrors you — through movement, expression, or words?
In this Gestalt-inspired workshop, we will explore how mirroring can open up greater awareness, contact, and self-understanding. Through simple paired exercises and shared reflection, you are invited to notice what arises in meeting another person — and in meeting yourself.
Mirroring as a Path to Contact
When we are mirrored, we may feel seen, recognised, surprised, or perhaps a little vulnerable. In this workshop, we will explore how mirroring affects our experience of presence, boundaries, and possibilities. We will work with what emerges in the here and now, with curiosity towards our emotions, sensations, and impulses.
Simple Exercises in a Safe Space
We will use gentle, guided exercises involving movement and presence. There is nothing you need to perform, and no right way to do it. The focus is on curiosity, sensing, exploring, and discovering — at your own pace.
The Atmosphere in the Room
You can expect a calm and welcoming space with room for reflection, playfulness, and authentic contact. This workshop is for anyone who is curious about themselves and others, and who would like to explore relational awareness in a gentle and experiential way.
Come as You Are
No prior experience with Gestalt therapy or personal development work is needed to take part. The most important thing is simply that you arrive with curiosity and a willingness to be present with what is here.
