When we say we feel “upset,” it’s usually not just one feeling — it’s a whole mix, all tangled together. And when we can’t sort them out, it’s easy to get stuck in cycles of chronic emotions that feel overwhelming.
In this workshop, we’ll practice how to name emotions clearly, as they happen, so we can tame their intensity and see them for what they really are: informational signals from the body trying to protect us. By better balancing our emotional awareness, we free ourselves to think more clearly, connect more easily, and build resilience.
And this isn’t a dry lecture — we’ll laugh, play with playdough, and paint to bring the learning alive with lightness and humor. What’s not to like?
You’ll walk away with:
- A simple and effective tool to untangle feelings
- Practice using our body’s signals to figure out their messages
- Activities that honor the diversity of emotional experience
- A playful, supportive experience of exploring feelings in community.
It’s ideal for anyone dealing with stress, depression, or anxiety… and just as valuable for any fabulous human who wants to expand their emotional toolkit.
No prior experience is needed — just curiosity and an open mind.
