Let’s talk about ageing

Are you ready to change the way you think about aging?
Whether you’re navigating the journey yourself or reflecting on how to embrace it gracefully, this workshop is for you!

Join us for an inspiring and interactive exploration of aging through the lens of Simone de Beauvoir’s concept of double alienation, which highlights the tension between personal and societal views on aging. Together, we’ll challenge the narrative that aging is something to be feared and resisted, and instead, see it as a time of resilience, self-reflection, and growth.

In this workshop, we will:
Discover practical ways to move beyond the fear of aging by adopting self-care practices that promote well-being and positive body image.

Engage in discussions, collaborative activities, and reflective exercises to foster intergenerational understanding and celebrate the wisdom that comes with life’s later stages.

Whether you’re younger and want to learn how to age with grace and confidence, or you’re already in the midst of your aging journey, this workshop offers you a path to embrace the process with dignity, purpose, and joy.

Host of the evening:
The evening will be hosted by clinical psychologist Persefoni Kaltaki
