New Topic: Superstitions vs magical thinking

“Step on a crack, break your mother’s back”

Maybe you were that child who delayed pedestrian traffic, never stepping on any pavement cracks, and walked around rather than under ladders. Or maybe you are an adult who still does. But how attached are you to these behaviors and would not abiding by them result in anxiety or worse?

Join us for an evening where we will first explore the difference between superstition and magical thinking, e.g. related to OCD, in a short presentation. We will have some time for questions and hopefully sharing of superstitions that have left an impression on us from our family lineage or last stop(s) on the planet, in small groups and in the larger group.
